The job description involves, assisting in the technical aspects of the distribution of medications and related functions under the direct supervision of a pharmacist and/or assistant pharmacist to aid in the delivery of patient care.
The requirements are Degree/Diploma from accredited university. One to two years of pharmacy clerk experience (hospital pharmacy) desirable. Computer literacy skills are very necessary. And ofcourse. good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Other skills include, Typing-30wpm minimum, basic knowledge of medications, medical nomenclature, physician's prescription orders, and insurance/billing systems desired.
